Volunteers started showing up at Time Warner Cable® Arena at 5:00 am to unpack the Family Dollar truck filled with more than 140,000 different items to be assembled in our care kits. More than 400 volunteers from all three organizations spent the entire day prepping the items for our care kits and were joined by the Bobcats team and coaching staff to pack all of the care kits for distribution. RALEIGH, NC March 28, 2014 — The statewide spring season for wild turkeys — male and bearded turkeys only — opens Saturday, April 5, with a one-week youth season that lasts through April 11. The season for all hunters opens April 12 and continues through May 10. During youth season, only turkey hunting by youth less than 16 years old is allowed.
