The Pirates recorded their second shutout of the season, and their first since defeating Davidson, 2-0, in the season opener. East Carolina (3-2-2) outshot Francis Marion (0-5) 19-3 in the contest. Florence, SC August 10, 2013 – Moving Day lived up to its name in the third round of the NGA TOUR’s Honda Powersports Classic at the Country Club of South Carolina as a trio of golfers bypassed second-round leader Kevin Aylwin and jumped atop the leaderboard in the $150,000 event on Saturday. James White, a former Georgia Tech standout, made the biggest move of the day, carding nine birdies and no bogeys en route to matching Spence Fulford’s competitive course record with a 63 in the third round. Morehead City, NC July 18, 2013 – The Morehead City Marlins dropped their second straight game on Thursday night, losing a heartbreaker 4-3 against the Florence RedWolves at Big Rock Stadium. Jacob Hoyle gave the Marlins a 2-0 lead with a two-RBI single to right field with the bases loaded and two outs in the home half of the third inning.
