Charleston Battery come up short in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL April 12, 2014 – The Charleston Battery (0-1-2) lost to Orlando City SC (2-0-2) by a score of one goal to none on Saturday night at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Stadium.  Substitute forward Brian Spann scored the lone goal slotting home from close range in the 74th minute. The loss was the Battery’s first of the USL PRO season. CLEMSON, SC March 24, 2014 – Lauren Salazar had rounds of 70 and 75 on Monday to tie for the individual lead and take Clemson to a third-place team standing after two rounds of the Briar’s Creek Invitational at the Golf Club of Briar’s Creek at Johns Island, S.C.  The 17 teams competing on the par 72 course played 36 holes in tough conditions on Monday.  They will finish the 54-hole event on Tuesday.
