WILMINGTON, NC March 21, 2014 – The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) announced the results of the Marketing Achievement Excellence (MAX!) awards last night. The event recognizes the best in media, marketing, and advertising tools of WCFHBA members and industry professionals. Winners were selected by a panel of professionals who specialize in disciplines that are related to new home construction and sales industries. To ensure an objective review of all entries, judges from North Carolina were located outside of the judging region. The awards banquet was held at Balcony on Dock in downtown Wilmington on Thursday, March 20. RALEIGH, NC March 18, 2014 – Casey Goggin from Pinecrest High School in Moore County is the North Carolina champion of Poetry Out Loud for the second consecutive year and will compete in the national finals next month in Washington, D.C. The 16-year-old Goggin’s wowed the judges with his recitations of the complex poems The Bad Old Days by Kenneth Rexroth, Chorus Sacerdotum by Fulke Greville and To Elsie by William Carlos Williams.
