UPDATED FEB. 16 at 2:35 p.m. RALEIGH, NC Feb. 16, 2015 — Due to anticipated inclement weather across the state, the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has postponed four public meetings that were scheduled for this week.

The Commission has continued until Feb. 24 a public hearing to receive comments on permanent rules regarding coyote hunting in the five-county red wolf reintroduction area in northeastern North Carolina and the designation of the red wolf as a state-listed threatened species.
The Commission has not changed its public hearing on establishing no-wake zones on Lake Wylie. It remains scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the Fellowship Hall at Cook’s Memorial Presbyterian Church, located at 3413 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road in Charlotte.
