Wilson Tobs Game in Edenton Cancelled

Tobs In Playoffs with .500 Record

WILSON, NC August 4, 2014 – The final regular season game, scheduled against the Edenton Steamers in Edenton, has been cancelled and will not be made up. This means the Wilson Tobs end the season at .500 with a 27-27 record and the three seed in the CPL Playoffs.

The Tobs will have tomorrow off before playing host to the Edenton Steamers for Game One of their three game series. The entirety of the Tobs’ playoff run is sponsored by Greenlight with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 P.M. and gates opening at 6 P.M. The Tobs will then hit the road to take on the Steamers in Edenton on Thursday and again on Friday if necessary.

Tickets prices for the playoff game on Wednesday are $7 for General Admission tickets and $8 for Reserved Seating. Presale for the playoff tickets will continue until 1 P.M. on Wednesday. Season Ticket and Corporate Ticket holders have until 4:01 P.M. on Tuesday to reserve the rights for their seats.
