CHARLOTTE, NC February 3, 2014 – The Charlotte Bobcats today announced that there is limited seating remaining for the second annual Hoops & Heels event on Saturday, February 8 hosted by FOX SportSouth sideline reporter Stephanie Ready. Presented by Walgreens and Wines D’ Italia, Hoops & Heels is the perfect “ladies night out” social event that includes an interactive and fun pregame experience before the Bobcats vs. the San Antonio Spurs game at Time Warner Cable Arena.
“This is a great opportunity for women to socialize while improving or refreshing their basketball knowledge,” Ready said. “Last year, we truly enjoyed our experience in the inaugural year of this event. This year we have already doubled the number of participants, and we look forward to providing an enjoyable night full of fun, entertainment and basketball before tipoff of the Bobcats game.”
The Hoops and Heels experience begins at 3:00 p.m. with a wine tasting featuring Wines D’Italia. The ladies will then partake in a Basketball 101 symposium led by Ready detailing the nuances of the NBA game. There will be a special appearance by former Charlotte Sting and WNBA All-Star Andrea Stinson. The women will also enjoy a unique courtside view of player pregame warmups and watch the Bobcats and Spurs game from a luxury suite. Each guest will receive a Hoops & Heels T-shirt, a Charlotte Hornets legend Dell Curry bobble head and will have the opportunity to win additional prizes.
