HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC January 27, 2014 – Due to the extreme weather conditions predicted and safety concerns for attendeesfor this Wednesday, Business EXPO, presented by the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, has been postponed until Thursday, February 13 at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.
“The safety and well-being of our EXPO exhibitors and attendees is our top priority,” said Bill Miles, chamber president and CEO. “After consulting with meteorologists, emergency management officials and some key EXPO exhibitors, the decision has been made to postpone the event due to the extreme weather conditions expected for the Lowcountry this Wednesday which include hazardous ice accumulation, potential power outages and possible school closings.”
The Lee Cockerell EXPO seminar will also be postponed to a later date in February.
