Hilton Head Business EXPO Features New One-Day Mega Format

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC January 13, 2014 –  This year’s new one-day Business EXPO format, presented by the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, will be held Wednesday, January 29 at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.  Look for exciting changes in store for exhibitors and attendees as well as business networking and seminars, including in-demand guest speaker Lee Cockerell, former Disney V.P.

With over 2,000 attendees, Business EXPO is one of the largest business-building events in the region. In a recent chamber survey, over 89% of former exhibitors surveyed preferred a one-day mega EXPO format, with 92% citing the opportunity to make new contacts.

Business EXPO runs from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Prior to Business EXPO, the chamber will present a Flood Insurance Summit at 10:00 a.m. Industry experts will share valuable news on this topic and address questions in an  informative Q&A session.

Attendees can learn how to take their customer service to a whole new level at Business EXPO’s 4:00 p.m. seminar with Cockerell, author of “The Customer Rules, The 39 Essential Rules for Delivering Sensational Service.”

New to this year’s line-up will be a mega EXPO After Hours event from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. featuring great food, complimentary beer and wine and entertainment, along with live remotes from L&L Broadcasting, exhibitor giveaways and coverage from WSAV, WHHI and 104.9.

There is no cost to attend EXPO during the day. Cost is $10 for members to attend EXPO After Hours. $20 for non-members. Presenting sponsor is Hilton Head Regional Healthcare.

The cost to attend Cockerell’s “The Customer Rules” seminar is $20 for members, or special price of $25 which includes discounted entry to EXPO After Hours. The cost for non-members is $35 for the seminar, $40 for seminar and EXPO After Hours. Seating is limited.  There is no fee to attend the Flood Insurance Summit.
