The team shot a 12-over 300 to finish the competition with rounds of 299-303-300=902 (+38). Kansas (+12) was the team champion with a three-shot win over Georgia State. East Tennessee State (+35) finished in third.

Back-to-back CAA Player of the Week Laura Fuenfstueck (Frankfurt, Germany) scored runner-up honors for her second consecutive tournament with a three-round score of 69-73-74=216 (E), two strokes behind individual medalist Melissa Siviter of Georgia State who fired a final-round 67 to capture the honors.

Sophomore Morgan Webber (Moore, S.C.) also cracked the top 10 with a tie for seventh place with a score of 220 (+4). Webber played very solidly, recording a first round of 74 followed by a pair of 73s.

Sophomores Louise Olsson (Uddeholm, Sweden) and Julia Neumann (Berlin, Germany) finished in ties for 11th and 14th respectively with scores of +6 and +7.

“We were just a little off in the final round today,” CofC Head Coach Jamie Futrell said. “But to be able to finish in fifth when you’re not playing your best is a testament to how good this team actually is. We’ll play well again in the spring and we know that we’ve got a lot more in the tank than what we showed today. This tournament was a solid performance and it capped off a great fall season, best fall in school history. We look forward to getting back to it in the spring and doing the same thing, this team has a chance to be a very special one and it has a chance to do some great things this year.”

This tournament wrapped up the fall portion of CofC’s schedule. The Cougars will have a break from competitive play until Feb. 23 when they travel to the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz.
