coming to Wilmington, North Carolina on May 12th!

Susie’s Hope is a movie made about the life of an incredible woman who saved a puppy from certain death after she was beaten and set on fire; causing burns over 60% of her body and burning off both ears. Donna was so outraged by the lack of punishment for the abuser she rallied and got laws changed here in N.C. Now making animal abuse a Class H Felony!

The film will be shown at Theatre Now (located at 10th & Dock Street) on Sunday, May 12 from 4-6. After the movie showing, there will be a “Paw-ty” with Donna and her dog Susie. Also coming to the “Paw-ty” will be; Balynda Brown and her dogs Ryder and Surfer Girl who are in the movie; the screenwriter and producers of the film; and a performance by Nashville recording artist Lacy Green, who wrote original music for the film.
