‘Canes Activate Chad LaRose from Injured Reserve

Forward has missed Carolina’s last 10 games with a concussion

RALEIGH, NC March 26, 2013 – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has activated forward Chad LaRose from injured reserve.

LaRose, 30, has missed Carolina’s last 10 games with a concussion. The Fraser, MI, native scored two goals and earned one assist (3 points) in 19 games with the Hurricanes prior to the injury. LaRose (5’10”, 181 lbs.) is in his eighth NHL season with the Hurricanes, and has scored 85 goals and earned 94 assists (179 points) in 492 career regular-season NHL games.
