Hob Nob Jazz Series returns to Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre

POPULAR HOB NOB JAZZ SERIES RETURNS TO CARY!

Cary, NC March 21, 2013 — Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre will once again “jazz” up your spring with the return of a popular music series. The Hob Nob Jazz Series will take place every Wednesday evening from May 1 – 29 and feature local and regional talent from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. All seating and music will take place on the spacious Crescent Deck creating a casual environment to relax and mingle with friends.

Tickets for the series will be priced at just $5 or patrons can buy the entire series for just $20. Kids 12 & under will be admitted for free and this year pets will be allowed. Patrons can bring in food but no beverages.

“We want to make this series accessible to as many people as possible”, said Lyman Collins, Town of Cary Cultural Arts Manager. “We timed the series so that it is a great opportunity to relax after work. By making the event child and pet-friendly the Hob Nob Jazz Series translates into quality time spent together as a family.”

“We experienced great success with the Hob Nob Jazz Series last year”, said Becky Colwell, Booth Amphitheatre General Manager. “It was wonderful to see groups of co-workers, friends and neighbors meeting at the venue to enjoy an evening of great entertainment in an informal setting. With each show it began to feel more and more like we were hosting hundreds of our closest friends on our deck at home.”

Tickets go on sale, Friday March 22 at noon at the amphitheatre box office or through etix.
