Carolina Panthers Re-Sign Captain Munnerlyn; Sign Safety Mike Mitchell
Charlotte, NC March 21, 2013 – The Carolina Panthers have re-signed unrestricted free agent cornerback Captain Munnerlyn and signed unrestricted free agent safety Mike Mitchell, the team announced Thursday.
“We are pleased with the addition of Mike Mitchell and the return of Captain Munnerlyn,” says head coach Ron Rivera. “Mitchell should provide competition in the secondary and we know Captain is a tough, hard-nosed competitor capable of making big plays.”
