USO of NC, Jacksonville Hosts Pooch Parade

Families bring out their most talented family member, their pooch, to compete in games and contests.

 

Jacksonville, NC March 19, 2013 – On April 6, 2013, The USO of North Carolina, Jacksonville along with BOB 93.3, A Dog’s Dream, a dog boarding and daycare facility out of New Bern, and the City of Jacksonville will host the 2nd Annual “Pooch Parade” at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. We are hosting this event to bring together dog lovers and military supporters to raise funds to benefit the USO of NC, Jacksonville programs and services.

USO - North Carolina 

The Pooch Parade will include additional contests and games, food vendors, and prizes. Registration is $5 to enter and includes a free USO bandanna, treat bag, and entry into one contest. Contests will include an agility course, longest sit and stay, a hotdog dunk, best trick, along with other no talent contests, such as best personality, longest tail and more.
