Core Sound Decoy Carvers Guild LOON DAY 2013

Harkers Island, NC March 13, 2013 – The Core Sound Decoy Carvers Guild will be hosting Loon Day on Saturday, May 11, 2013, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the H. Curt Salter Building.

This event includes an in-water decoy competition, a live auction, and lunch.  All activities are free of charge.  The competition is a donation competition in that the decoy itself acts as the entry fee.  All birds entered become property of the Decoy Guild.  This competition carries a $200 first prize cash purchase award, $100 for second place, $50 for third and $25 for fourth place.
