Charleston RiverDogs Individual Tickets Go on Sale March 12

Tickets are Available Online March 12, In-person and Over the Phone March 13; Order Your Tickets Early This Year and Receive FREE Tickets as a Thank You

CHARLESTON, SC March 7, 2013 – It’s that time of year again as single game tickets for the 2013 Charleston RiverDogs regular season will go on sale to the public. This year as a thank you to fans for purchasing tickets early, folks will be rewarded with FREE RiverDogs tickets.

For one day only on Wednesday, March 13, all tickets will be buy-one-get-one FREE to any RiverDogs home game during the 2013 regular season, limit four per customer. Also, any tickets purchased in advance for the Opening Night game on Thursday, April 11 will receive an additional ticket to the RiverDogs’ Saturday, April 27 game FREE of charge.

At 12:01 am on Tuesday, March 12, individual game tickets for the 2013 Charleston RiverDogs regular season will go on sale to the public with the convenience of purchasing print-at-home tickets online at www.riverdogs.com, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For those fans that prefer the more traditional ticket purchase, the Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park Box Office will open for in-person and phone orders beginning Wednesday, March 13. Open daily, the box office hours will be Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm, Saturdays from 10 am-4 pm, and on Sundays from 12 noon-4 pm.

“We are excited to have our single game tickets go on sale,” said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols. “There’s just something special about Opening Day in baseball, and we are getting closer and closer by the minute. We couldn’t be happier that RiverDogs baseball will be back at The Joe in just a few short weeks.”

Along the banks of the scenic Ashley River, the excitement at The Joe kicks off with an Opening Week (April 11-17) that features the season’s first Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, General Dynamics Land Systems-Force Protection Red Shirt Friday and Piggly Wiggly Friday Night Fireworks, the first Saturday giveaway, in addition to a Charleston County Parks & Recreation and Crews Subaru Family Sunday. Then there’s the red-hot July 3^rd Independence Day Celebration presented by Wells Fargo that features a massive post-game fireworks extravaganza. Those are among the 70 home dates that are always packed and often a sellout.

Through tough economic days, the RiverDogs have worked vigorously to keep the entertainment value of all tickets at a premium. A multitude of ticket opportunities are available, and prices range from $19 to $6 with significant savings for those that purchase their tickets in advance.
