CAA Recognizes Kosta Blank, Chris Cooprider

CAA RECOGNIZES BLANK, COOPRIDER

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW’s 15^th-ranked doubles team of Kosta Blank and Chris Cooprider has been recognized as the Colonial Athletic Association’s Doubles Team-of-the-Week.

The senior tandem, playing at the top of the doubles lineup, went 2-0 last week as the Seahawks breezed past Coastal Carolina and Davidson by identical 7-0 scores to improve to 8-3 this spring.

Blank and Cooprider trimmed CCU’s Garik Yedigarian and Matias De Pasquale, 8-4, in an easy victory over the Chanticleers and then rolled over Davidson’s Chris Mark and Kevin Moore, 8-2.

The Seahawks return to action Saturday with a Noon match against No. 20 Clemson at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center on the Tiger campus.
