13th Annual Core Sound Decoy Festival Poster Contest

Harkers Island, NC Feb. 22, 2013 – The Core Sound Decoy Carvers Guild is excited to announce the 13^th Annual Core Sound Decoy Festival Contest.  The Guild encourages local artists to submit artwork, that if chosen as the winning entry, will be used on Decoy Festival posters, advertising flyers, and apparel.  The featured decoy for 2013 is the Surf Scoter.  As is the custom, a cash prize of $250.00 will also be awarded to the winning artist.

Packets containing contest rules and an application may be obtained by mail or e-mail beginning February 19^th by calling Amie Talton at (252) 393-3792, or e-mailing Amie at amie_talton@yahoo.com.  Contest rules and applications may also be found online at www.decoyguild.com.  The deadline for submissions is 6pm, March 30th, 2013.
