Things To Know About The Game
•East Carolina sits one-game behind Tulsa for fifth-place in Conference USA. The Pirates are 5-6 in league play, while Tulsa is 6-5. The top five seeds in the C-USA Tournament receive a bye into the quarterfinals.
•ECU and Tulsa each went into overtime during its last game. The Pirates lost to Southern Miss 86-82 in overtime and Tulsa outlasted Houston, 101-92, in triple overtime.
•East Carolina has lost eight straight games to Tulsa and trails the overall series, 9-1. The Pirates are 0-4 against the Golden Hurricane at the Reynolds Center.
•Southern Miss has won eight in a row in the series, including three straight inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.

•ECU fell behind by 18 points, 22-4, in the first eight minutes and in the end lost by three, 70-67, to Tulsa inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum last season.
•Darrius Morrow led the Pirates with 18 points and Maurice Kemp recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Miguel Paul had 13 points in the loss.
•Tulsa’s Jordan Clarkson led all scorers with 23 points, sinking 5-of-5 3-pointers. Kodi Maduka posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
•The Golden Hurricane shot 45 percent from the field compared to 38 percent by ECU. TU made 8-of-12 3s and the Pirates connected on just 7-of-26.

•After being held under 80 points in six straight games, the Pirates broke through with 82 in an overtime loss to Southern Miss Saturday. The Pirates have scored 80 points four time in league play, but this was its first loss when doing so. ECU has topped 80 points in 11 games this season (7-4).
•East Carolina has shot over 50 percent in two of its last three games. The Pirates are 4-0 when shooting over 50 percent from the floor this season.
