Southern Cape Fear Bridal Showcase Forecast Good Year

Southport, NC Feb. 18, 2013 – The Southern Cape Fear Bridal Showcase was held this past Sunday, February 17th, at the Southport Community Building. Member businesses of the Southport- Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce that provide various wedding services were available to help the brides and grooms plan their special day. This year’s event had over 100 guests. Megan Canny, Chamber Events Coordinator & Sales said “we are encouraged by the turnout at this year’s event which could translate into exciting news for the wedding season in our area.”

 

The Southern Cape Fear Bridal Showcase is held annually in February and is a Southport Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce event, sponsored by 3 Cheers Party Rentals. Vendors who participated in the show were: Crazy Cake Chicks, Sound Waves Studio, Town of St James, Kevin Seifert Photography, Seaside Wedding Connection, Oak Island Accommodations, Mary Kay, Gene Ho Photography, Southport Community Building, 3 Cheers Party Rentals, Shagger Jacks, Coastal Catering and Events, On Stage Photography, Silver Coast Winery, Piner Photography, Nerium International, Shoreline Portraits, and Bryce Lafoon Photography.

 

The door prize winners are Lisa Skipper of Southport, Morgan Brittain of Southport, Scott Mackenzie of Myrtle Beach, Laura Furpless of Southport, Adrienne Merritt of Myrtle Beach, Bianca Jackson of Southport, Kaycie Grice of Wilmington, Meghan Greene of Oak Island, Kacey Leonard of Castle Hayne, Amy Sims of Southport, Pete Lombardi of Leland, Mindy Ellinger of Oak Island, Savannah Gray of Oak Island, Karen Terry of Little River, Sherill Lubinsky of Southport, Brooke Smith of Southport, and Bev Mastrovich of Southport.
