CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women’s basketball team returns to TD Arena to host Western Carolina Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

SCOUTING WESTERN CAROLINA
Western Carolina comes in with a 5-12 overall record and 3-5 mark in Southern Conference play. The Catamounts are coming off an 88-83 triple overtime victory at Furman on Wednesday. The Catamounts have four players averaging right around seven points per game. Against Furman they had four players in double-figures and two players that scored over 20 points, Lindsay Simpson and Rena Wakama.
Senior Latisha Harris has six double-doubles this season and 15 for her career. In the Cougars most recent game against Wofford, Harris registered a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds.
FRYE CATCHING FIRE…AGAIN
Junior Alyssa Frye matched her school record for three-pointers in a single game with seven against Wofford. Frye broke the previous school record of six on 11/17 in the Cougars win at East Carolina. Frye has 53 three-pointers this season, compared to 35 all of last season. Frye is 10 three-pointers from tying the school record for threes made in a single season.
GETTING TO THE FREE-THROW LINE
The Cougars have attempted at least 15 free-throws in each of their last four games. For the 2012-13 season, they have attempted at least 15 free-throws in 13 games.
The Cougars have combined to grab double-digit offensive rebounds as a team in each of their 18 games this season. The Cougars are second in the SoCon in offensive rebounds per game and senior Cathryn Hardy is second among individual players in offensive rebounds per game.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TO HOST EDUCATION DAY
