The Ronald McDonald House is a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children. The Cougars learned more about the organization and helped spread some holiday cheer while taking a tour of the house.

The lighting ceremony is an annual holiday fundraiser which brings the light of hope and love to families who must stay in Charleston during the holiday season. Every donation received during lights of love is represented by a light illuminated at the lighting ceremony and throughout the holidays.

CofC fans who would like to help and donate to the cause, can purchase a light by calling the Ronald McDonald House during business hours, at (843) 723-7957, through Jan. 1, 2013.
