Trent Wiedeman Out Indefinitely

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston 6-foot-8 forward Trent Wiedeman (Suwanee, Ga.) will not suit up against Boston College after suffering a sprained right ankle in the Cougars’ 55-51 loss versus Auburn in the 2012 ESPN Charleston Classic on Nov. 16.

Wiedeman, who is a preseason All-Southern Conference Team selection, will be re-evaluated later this week by the medical staff. He played and started in all three games of the season averaging a team-leading 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Last year, Wiedeman missed one game of the season due to a sprained ankle versus Western Carolina on Feb. 19, 2012.
