Darlington Raceway Holds Toys for Tots Fundraiser & Toy Drive
DARLINGTON, S.C. – Darlington Raceway held its annual Toys for Tots Fundraiser and Toy Drive today. With fans being able to take their personal vehicles on the track Too Tough To Tame by giving a $20 cash donation or an unwrapped toy, hundreds of cars took to the high banks of Darlington for the unique opportunity.
Now in its third year, the Toys for Tots Fundraiser and Toy Drive at Darlington Raceway has grown to become the largest single-day collection event for the Pee Dee area’s U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
In the attached photos, a group of classic historic cars made laps around the track, while Hartsville, S.C. residents Russell and Angela Gainey show off their participation certificates prior to taking a few laps around the Lady in Black.
Full collection results from the event will be released on Monday, Nov. 19.
