SOUTHPORT – Climb aboard the ghost ship at the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport, Saturday, October 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. Little mariners will enjoy spooky tales of lost souls, pirates, and other mysteries along the Lower Cape Fear. Games and activities for goblins and ghouls include pirate bean bag toss, design your own trick or treat bag, ghost writing, and shadow drawing. Get into the spirit early at the Maritime Museum!

The North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport is located at 204 E. Moore St. The three North Carolina Maritime Museums are the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum located in Hatteras, the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort and the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.
