A unique North Carolina winery and vineyard tour for wine lovers everywhere
RALEIGH, NC—NC Wine Country, a premier provider and promoter for North Carolina wineries, announced their first annual Sip Trip. The trip is a chartered tour to explore the North Carolina wine country with fellow wine lovers. The trip takes place Saturday and Sunday Oct. 13-14, 2012 beginning in Clemmons, NC. Limited seating is available and packages start at $165 per guest.
The trip includes one night hotel accommodations, meals and wine tastings at five Yadkin Valley vineyards including RayLen Vineyards, Westbend Vineyards, Sanders Ridge, Divine Llama Vineyards and Flint Hill Vineyards. A barbeque lunch, homemade Italian dinner and a continental breakfast are included in the Sip Trip package.
In addition, guests will receive a 2012 Sip Trip t-shirt, tote bag and an NC Vine Card. The Vine Card can be used at more than 40 wineries and wine related businesses in North Carolina. Each vendor has been carefully selected to provide the best wine tasting experiences in North Carolina.
Outside of the winery tasting rooms, NC’s award winning, boutique wines are now available at North Carolina Wine Gifts. The online wine store features 12 of NC’s best European varietals and blends and the favorite sweet wines from the native Muscadine grapes. All of the wines are consumer quality rated on a four star scale.
