Elizabeth City, NC – The Museum of the Albemarle will host a “Teen Workshop” on Wednesday, June 13 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 pm. This workshop is open to anyone interested in becoming a summer intern, a Junior Docent and also any current Junior Docents in need of a refresher course. Participants will receive training in program presentation for MOA’s summer activities. Junior Docents are highly motivated and interested in exploring history, developing their leadership skills and have a desire to make a significant contribution to the community. The Junior Docent program has been sponsored in the past few years by the Perry Auto Group. This workshop is designed for students who are between the ages of 12 and 16.
