HSMAI To Honor Myrtle Beach Area CVB With Silver And Bronze Award

 

Winners Will Be Recognized at HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala Feb. 27 in New York City

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of CommerceMYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Hospitality Sales Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will recognize the Myrtle Beach Area CVB with a silver and bronze Adrian Award for public relations excellence for two winning entries in the 55th annual Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.

This year’s contest attracted nearly 1,000 entries from around the world, with entries judged by top executives from all sectors of the industry. On Feb. 27, HSMAI will pay tribute to the Myrtle Beach Area CVB during the annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala, a black-tie affair attended by more than 1,000 hospitality, travel and tourism marketing executives at the New York Marriott Marquis.

The Myrtle Beach Area CVB will receive the silver Anvil award for the public relations campaign for the Myrtle Beach boardwalk opening. A bronze Anvil will be awarded for a feature Myrtle Beach boardwalk story placement in Budget Travel magazine in 2011.

“The bar is continuously set higher each year in regards to the quality of Adrian Awards submissions we receive,” said Fran Brasseux, HSMAI executive vice president. “This year’s winners have made their mark in travel advertising, public relations, and digital marketing. We look forward to showcasing this exemplarily work with the industry and recognizing the remarkable winners at the Adrian Awards Gala.”
